Shipping & Delivery

Whilst we endeavour to have 100% of the products we advertise in stock, if you have placed an order for a product that is out of stock, Vellux Blankets will send an e-mail message within 24 hours to notify out-of-stocks as well as an estimated delivery date as well as the option of waiting for your items or receiving a full refund. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Delivery is only within Australia and we use multiple courier services for all items depending on delivery location. Vellux Blankets strives to use the most efficient and reliable courier for your particular area rather than using one courier service to service our entire business. Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method selected and the delivery address. Deliveries to major cities will take 1 to 2 days whilst it could take up to 5 days for more remote areas.

Deliveries can only be made where a signature to verify the delivery can be obtained. We understand that at times this would be difficult but it is necessary to protect the goods you have ordered, and to verify to us that you have received your products. The best addresses are where someone is home between 7am and 6pm weekdays, or a business address which is open during normal business hours. Usually if delivery cannot be made, couriers will leave a note to make another appointment or for you to pick up that item but this cannot be taken for granted. If delivery cannot be made you will be responsible for any additional delivery fees incurred, so make sure someone is available to sign.

Please note: We do not deliver to PO Boxes.

Authority to Leave

All orders delivered by Courier Companies under the value of $250.00 that you wish to have left on the premise without a signatory will need to have attached to their sent goods an COURIER AUTHORITY TO LEAVE FORM completed or a ARTICLE ON PREMISES WITHOUT P.O.D. SIGNATURE” or a “NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED” or other such label indicating that goods may be left at the nominated address without a signature or physical hand over to the customer. Such customers agree to abide by this action and hence are then fully responsible for the condition and title of such goods left without a signature.
